If you want to learn how to become a baby swimming teacher, you're in the right place. Water Babies teachers are the best trained swimming teachers in the world and we're proud of giving every parent, carer and baby the best experience possible in and out of the water. If you're ready to learn more, all you need is passion - we'll provide the rest.
A big heart and a passion for teaching young children is a great start.
We’re looking for extraordinary people to become part of our family and inspire our next generation of swimmers. And you don’t need to have any previous experience either. Many of our teachers are parents, who caught the bug for teaching when they experienced it for themselves in our classes.
"For 2 years I happily worked as a nurse during the week and taught Water Babies classes at weekends. The moment I see a child swim independently on the surface of the water is the most rewarding part of the job. No matter how many children I see do this, it never gets old and the feeling of pride is immense."
Becca Succamore, Water Babies Teacher and Franchisee
If you like what you see, we want to hear from you.
Find a job listing that you would like to apply for. Follow the instructions and email your application to the relevant email address and we'll be in touch with you about your application.
If your application is successful, we'll invite you for an interview with your local Water Babies business owner.
We have a 3 stage interview process where we get the opportunity to get to know you better, find out what you can bring to this role, give you the opportunity to demonstrate your communication skills and see you in action in a pool. 🥳
We'll then go on to provide online learning which covers everything from scientific principles to risk assessments. You'll also have the opportunity to shadow our teachers in real classes to pick up how everything works. Attend a 7 day course where you will explore our program in depth with our tutor team. Finally, you will complete your online work and teach some real lessons to put everything into practice.
