Work With Water Babies

Water Babies is passionate about quality standards and were the technical authors for the British Standards for delivering early years swim lessons. You can be confident in the knowledge our lessons are safe, with strong health and safety procedures in place and adhered to. Our teachers are the highest trained teachers in the world. They go through 150-200 hours of training on Teaching Pre-School Swimming.

We can provide significant additional revenue to pool operators, by taking unused time and turning it into cash. We’re prompt and reliable payers; you will never have to chase down a payment from us.

We work around your schedules. While weekend time is premium for us, we’re also able to take on time during weekday daytimes, which is often when facilities are at their quietest. We’ll bring everything we need with us, and take it all away again after our sessions. This means we won’t need to use any of your equipment. All our equipment is subjected to a rigorous cleaning schedule to ensure it’s safe for little ones to use.

Once they’ve graduated from Water Babies at five years old, many Water Babies carry on their swimming journey into mainstream lessons offered by the facility where their lessons are held. This means we can act as a customer acquisition tool for lessons offered at your facility. Our customers will also be able to use your services during their time on-site (gym, cafe, vending machines, shops) providing an associated secondary spend. Those organisations who we have partnered with nationally have reported a significant increase in secondary spend from our customers. As well as this, there’s an opportunity to reach a new market and share with them the additional facilities and membership options you have available at your location, including gym and centre memberships.

We’ll provide all the Pool Safety Operating Procedures for our lessons to ensure we integrate into your environment seamlessly. We offer in-house pools, facilities, and safety technical support through our full-time Pools and Facilities Manager, who can provide expert advice on any issues relating to safety and operations.

Water Babies is supported by a network of experts who have the ability to review plant rooms where we can work collaboratively to improve water quality and save energy if required.

We ensure our customers integrate seamlessly into your environment. We make sure new customers know the facilities, where to put their belongings, and to remind them of any rules and safety requirements. We insist on a double diaper system in lessons, where every child wears either a disposable or reusable swim diaper, with a neoprene ‘Happy Nappy™’ on top. These are designed to reduce the chances of leakages into the pool water, keeping everything in.

We’re able to teach Water Babies lessons in a variety of spaces. This includes a section of a pool, a lane, half a pool, or a whole pool. We can work around you. We’re very used to running lessons while other people are using the pool and our team are always respectful of other pool users.

Ideally, we need a water temperature of 30+ degrees. We’re able to teach slightly older children in 29 degrees, however a 30 degree temperature allows us more flexibility in what we can offer. The maximum temperature we can run lessons in is 35 degrees.

All Water Babies franchise businesses carry a minimum of $5 000 000 in general liability insurance and have Employer’s Liability. This means Water Babies is insured at all facilities where we deliver classes, negating the need for the pool location worrying about liability for the actions of Water Babies staff using its facilities.
